So basically 10 posts per day! Which is nuts. You can tell I didn’t have WoW for this month can’t you? :P

But you forgot to announce what song you were playing, Jamie…

Just found a bunch of those “#gif in your folder” games and did a few, but I put them in the queue to come out over the next couple of days just to avoid spamming them. :) I don’t know why, but I love those stupid things….
I’m actually kind of excited because I rather like it!! I’m really picky about the layouts here on Tumblr, and I actually don’t like a large number of them (which is fine because I think Tumblr has so many actually different themes, that there is something for everyone), but I do like this new one and the old one. I just wanted a change and wanted to go with something a little darker. :) Hopefully it’ll be sticking around for a while. :D
I don’t mean summer jobs you have in high school/college or part time jobs you pick up. I mean people who are out of school and established in the working world and hate their jobs.
I know it’s rough with the economy right now, but I’ve been hearing adults complain about their jobs all my life….
I really agree with this. I don’t know how people could put up with something they hate for so long. I actually did a paper on Burnout, and focused on the academic community since that’s kind of what I know best, and most teachers burnout within 5 years. Hence, the reason why some school districts and Universities don’t offer tenure until after 5 years. Which makes sense because I think that once you’ve had a job for 5 years, it can start to feel less fulfilling. However, I don’t know why you’d want to be stuck in something you actually hate. Even if you’ve achieved a good position and don’t want to risk giving up a stable existence, I think it’s worth the risk if you can find a job that you actually love to do. Yet, this is ideal. Unfortunately, I think we are simply stuck with the fact that some of us won’t land the ideal work environment, it isn’t because we don’t want to or that we can’t, but because the system won’t allow it. Also, some people are content to be disgruntled…which is of course oximoronic, but I see it often; people that just have to be unhappy about something, and an obvious choice just happens to be work. I call these people life-suckers.
Anyway, I wish you luck on your first job!! And if you ever need someone to rant to about a bad day, week, or what-have-you, you know the way to my ask box. ;)
Jamie Bell movie marathon the first night back at Uni, while I’m still by myself and the roommate hasn’t shown up yet. :D So far in the line up we have: The Eagle, The Chumscrubber, Billy Elliot, Deathwatch, Jumper, and possibly Jane Eyre and/or Defiance.
I’m not one for movie marathons…I usually can’t sit down that long, but I’m willing to give it a try for Jamie Bell and his amazing films. :)

It kind of blows my mind that Jamie Bell filmed Deathwatch only 2 years after Billy Elliot. Boy did a lot of growing up over those two years…
